Welcome to the 2017/2018 School Year. I am Mrs. Kent and I have the pleasure of teaching your child for the morning portion of the school day for Language Arts, Math and Religion.

It will be on this blog that I will try to keep everyone up to date on all things new and exciting within the school community, and of course within Mrs. Kent's Grade 6 Classroom.
Here you will be able to check for assigned homework, classroom rules and procedures, and of course take a look into the exciting events that will be taking place within our classroom.

This year our junior students (grade 4-6) have received agendas to help with their organizational skills. The agendas are 10$ and they can be purchased through our school's online account. In the agenda is where students will write the majority of their homework and reminders.

Today a letter was sent home asking whether or not permission is granted to use photos of your child on our class blog and on other school related sites.

We also have a class twitter account. You can follow all of the action through our twitter account: @SKentsclassroom

I am very excited to start this new school year, and I look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you!
